Sometimes I don’t like when Tunes substitutes in for Slick. Things are too different then. The general seriousness of the lessons disappears and well… I don’t really function well in these light hearted sessions.
Not that I care that I’m different that the rest of the HITs. I don’t. I’ve always been different and , I mean, would I really want to be the same as someone like Blue? Psht, no. It’s just that… even Dom is at ease and smiling and he’s usually so uncomfortable in his own skin.
Maybe it should make me angry. Maybe it does. It makes me feel something. I don’t know the names for all the feelings, I bet no one does. Muzange enters the room and I look up at him and his perfect posture. He looks at the smiling, laughing lecture with the same closed out eyes that I feel I had on. A part of me wants to smile.
I’m part of a better class of people.
