I had a peek at your new intro and ALAN TUDYK ALAN TUDYK ALAN TUDYK. That is all.

Fluff about minor characters is not unwelcome! I love getting little bits of background. It fleshes out the main story even better when you know what comes before, after, and around it. And these two are just adorable. They play off each other very well, and I love how Gary just went with the impromptu proposal without batting an eye. Awesome. <3

Gary has this thing where he'll get into a comfortable rut and then forget that not everyone wants to just keep going in the same rut forever, so Lynne tends to instigate changes in their relationship. He did almost beat her to it on this one, though, so I'll give him points for trying.
