*laughs FOR EVER* I love how Finn's just "oh hey, a new finger" while Drew is still trying to figure out what the HECK just happened.

I...think I need to write Lynne's reaction to this now.

Also: Hilaaaaarious use of the Guava prompt, my GOD.

Haha, I know. It might be Finn's first time, but he's still WAY more collected than Drew :P Drew's still barely past the WTFPANICMODE instinct even by the end.

Haha, I liked this! Two parts in particular:

One minute, they were talking idly and cutting boards and the next minute, snick, Finn’s hand exploded with pain and blood. << That because I love the description; though I did think at first that half his hand had been cut off xD. My bad, though.

Almost as one, the two of them slowly turned to look to where the bloody severed finger lay a few feet away on the ground. After a long few moments, Drew cleared his throat uncomfortably. “What are we supposed to do with that?” << And that because I just found it hilarious - it was really easy to imagine the long, uncomfortable moment and then Drew breaking the silence XD. It's a fun story.

Haha, no, I don't blame you too much - I wasn't specific for a reason, but figured it became clear enough later on what had actually happened - Finn himself has no clue what just happened besides PAIN for a few moments.

I'm so glad you liked that line! It was my favorite of the piece and the one that honestly precipitated the entire piece :)

Finn's casual-ness is great. Poor Drew, though! I would have had an absolute heart-attack. Just thinking of it scares me. XD I love the ending though. Right on, Drew!

Finn's known about his regeneration power for a very long time (12 years at this point) even if he's never cut off a body part, so it's a bit easier for him to swallow than it is for Drew! Drew pretty much does have a heart attack but never passes up an opportunity to traumatize his wife ^^
