The city walls were high. Sanda wasn’t dizzy though, as she stood there looking down at the metropolis’ beating heart, smiling at the people who stared at the child balancing on the thin edge. She felt like the ruler of the city. She was higher than the king in this tower. She was the highest of them all.
“Sanda!” The child’s mother’s call was harsh. Sanda looked down and smiled. “Come down!” Came the snarl.
Sanda sighed, grabbed the rope she’d secularly fastened to the edge of the wall and jumped with a loud laugh that echoed through the city.
