Aww, Lindsay! I like this dimension to her, though. It's a nice angle to take with her and does add a lot to her. You should definitely stick with her being the strong one and all the inner turmoil.

So this does help her? Good. I'll keep going in this vein then (and maybe have her snap at some point, idk). Thankies!

This definitely helps her, especially if you stick with it and I think her nsapping would be a very logical thing to happen.

Omg my name is Lyndsay. Weird. Good thing you spell it normally, otherwise I'd get really confused. =X

Did her boyfriend break up with her because she gained ten pounds, or because she was so worried and stressed? This is such a heartbreaking situation! You really get that feeling that everything is falling apart, and this family is struggling to keep it together. I especially like the first sentence, and how it leads into the story with a bang. :)

I actually didn't want to give her the name Lindsey because there is also a Laura who came before her (and I already had two C names, in addition) but she grabbed onto it and refused to be named anything else, so she got to keep it.

Did her boyfriend break up with her because she gained ten pounds, or because she was so worried and stressed?

Both. He was already growing tired of having to support her through the trauma and saw the weight gain as a sign that she wasn't going to be worth it (she was letting herself go a bit). Thank you, I'm glad you liked it :)

I think it's really brave and compassionate the way she lied to her brother. It's interesting.

Thank you! She really just wants all the hurting to end, not to make it worse.

Thank you! I hope to get on with how it all goes together very soon, and it looks like I'm doing better with Lindsey's character this go around so YAY. :) She really just wants everything to be okay again and doesn't feel that telling Kevin will help that.
