I love the banter that my characters sometimes provide me with :D I'm glad you like the descriptions! It's something I know is a weak spot for me and I've been working on it! Thanks!

I enjoyed the descriptions of the landscape and the castle. It does sound very imposing. I was amused by him being more intimidated by how to break in without breaking it than the castle itself :)

I'm glad the castle came across as imposing - I was trying to get that impression across in as short a space as possible. Haha, that's such a Jay thought, but also a true one.

Jay's random knowledge of ancient Tiran history will never, EVER fail to amuse me. (Needs moar Jay/Jess *whistle*) I'm so happy to see new NIEE stuff. It's been so long!

Haha, I know! That totally happened accidently but he knows his history. I should write a short some day about little Jay learning history. I can just imagine him being a total brat/pain in the ass to his teachers but absorbing every word. (Aw, I did/do love Jay/Jess, but they work so much better as friends in the end :D). It's not exactly NEW NIEE stuff, but it is rewritten NIEE stuff (although some of the dialogue here is the same), and I'm having a lot of fun getting back to it!
