Notes: NINJA EDIT! In order to make this adhere more to the story's canon (so sorry about that). Vargas and Milo are no longer the same person - V is in fact a whole new seperate entity who shall be unleashed on you all shortly.

"You realize that once the Committee are made aware of your latest project's success they will expect him to be sent in for conditioning?"
"That sounds suspiciously like concern, my dear," he says, fumbling with the top buttons of his shirt. There’s a bruise on his collarbone, a parting gift from his new toy - poor Wade, so full of want now that he’s finally conscious. It should be interesting to see how long these…urges last. "I thought you were above such things. Or are you getting sentimental in your old age?”
He feels reckless in his triumph, like not even God himself could touch him much less those narrow-minded bureaucrats. It’s foolish and beneath him but he allows himself to enjoy the moment nonetheless.
