He’s been very distant lately, Sakura thought worriedly, looking up at the boy next to her. I hope I didn’t do something. And his birthday is in three days.
It’s better to be distant, it is. Sano told himself, studiously looking at the cow across the fence, a piece of paper dangling from its ear, its inscription promising death if removed. I don’t want to do this, but I have to. It’s for the best. My birthday is in three days.
I hope we’ll be ok. Sakura thought, biting her lip.
