[Jake visits the principal for another special detention. He waits at the door, as another student is inside being reprimended.]
Principal Brown: It’s not...nice. Duke, go to the guidance office, and tell them you need help.
Duke: Dude, I don’t need help.
Principal Brown: But you do, Duke. Why can’t you be more like your girlfriend? Max Rice appears to be very...
Duke: Maxene? [chuckles] Dude, Max isn’t my girlfriend.
Principal Brown: [Adjusting his glasses] But I assume since...you two are together.
Duke: [Laughs louder] You got it all wrong. I’m doing this as a favor for her sister, Heart. You see, Heart’s hotter. Yeah, and she says if I help her degrade her sister’s ego, I could still be her boyfriend.
Principal Brown: [Taking a pitcher and pouring water into his glass. He drinks it.] Seriously, you teenagers are so...fickle.
Duke: I’ll take that as a compliment Mr. Brown, sir. [Smiling] But I really am not interested in Maxene. At all.
Principal Brown: I see. Well, you may go now.
Duke: [Cheers] All right! I’m awesome!
[Duke exits, but meets with Jake halfway through the door, his eyes wide.]
