I can imagine him singing this with Sham and Mara during that scene, vaguely in the background when Lys and Ski are talking. It sheds more light on the game itself, too. The Twinkle twinkle tune makes it extra cute!

I totally read this to the tune of twinkle twinkle before I saw your note :D it's there in the cadence! Very cute rhyme, and imagining Kairn singing it to the kiddies makes me go awww ♥

it also sounds a lot more fun/adventurous than twinkle twinkle-very cool!

YAY! I was so hoping the twinkle twinkle would naturally come out!!! :)

and I wanted to do something to go with the temple and its purpose and all, and yet I hate it in stories where the answer to everything is in some nursery rhyme or folk tale or some such, so I tried to keep it vague enough that there's no chance Mara or Sham is going to one day go 'hey, you remember that rhyme from when we were kids?'

In a way it is! This sort of goes along with the side story I should be working on for the novel big bang challenge. I think I will make that my project when the Olympics are done. Of course, Mara and Sham have their own adventures ahead as well.
