Also, I kind of want to punch Douglas in the face for jumping to conclusions like that. AND PREGNANCY CRAVINGS OH GOD OTL

I love how this is written! I could feel the tension between them even though it wasn't stuck in my face that HEY THEY JUST MIGHT GET INTO A BARFIGHT.

Heh, yeah, Gail won't let them get into a barfight, for lo, she will use the "Kindergarten Teacher Is Displeased" voice and lo, they will be cowed. And Douglas really is a nice guy. As Shayna pointed out, Gail was sort of asking for it. :D Thanks for your compliments, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the minions line! It is my favorite.

But, uh, seriously, Gail...you introduce Nathan that way and you are asking for the response you got our of Doug. I feel bad for the guy, he seems like a good fellow.

He is a good guy! He's one of Ivy's honorary uncles, and the whole beating-Nathan-up thing was out of affection for Gail and Ivy. Gail just has this thing where she sometimes expects people she hasn't seen in years to know everything that's happened in her life since then. Douglas will be back being awesome.

Douglas and Gail have been friends since she was seventeen. He knew what he was getting into. :D There will be more of him, never fear.

Gail's future!minion, btw? Jake. He liked the idea so much he had fake business cards made up with "Director's Minion" as his job title.

I love Gail and Nathan too. *hugs them lots* What with all the other unstable and crazy and broken relationships in my stories (Hugh and Yvonne I am looking at YOU), they're a breath of fresh air.
