Summary: Mikel wakes up after Grannie's whispering chant.
A/N: First time that I have gotten a chance to write for this story group so excuse the roughness of the main character, just starting to get a real grasp of him.
Mikel could only look around the room he was sitting dumbfounded. When his Grannie had started her whispering he had not though much of it and had viewed that all it would do was put him into his dreams. As he looked around the white room he found himself laying in he sincerely doubted this was his dreams. The shock from pinching himself and feeling the pain of it had also given him the same idea, eyeing the room some more he pushed himself up and tried to find where the walls of the room were. He had to be imagining that the room seemed to go on forever in each direction.
"Mikel Rui Cortland welcome to the beginning of your journey." Mikel scrambled to a standing position and whipped himself around to see the whole white room, no one was there which made a shiver go down his back. Who the hell was talking to him then? "You had no need to know who we are Mikel, only what we must tell you. The journey you must take will allow you to fully comprehend the future you must one day see and tell about." Mikel could only blink in astonishment, this is where Grannie sent him to for his last test? A large white room with a voice talking to him? Right, enough was enough.
"Grannie! Wake me up damn it, this is not funny alright? Whatever I did this time just tell me and deal out the usual punishment rather than putting me in my mind like this and try and make me feel insane!" Mikel glared up at the 'ceiling' which also seemed to go on forever, he feared that if he looked at the floor the same feeling would occur and that would not help with him trying to keep himself oriented.
"This is no joke Mikel, this is your final test. You will relive your past lives and will experience what you must from each one. Where you will be is not the actual past so do not fear that you will change anything, this is a time for you to learn not to feel worried about things you do not need to concern yourself about. The emotions of your once life will affect you and the body you may find yourself in will also affect your actions. Good luck future Cortland Clairvoyance!" Mikel blinked in shock and went to yell out his protests but found himself blacking out, not knowing where the future would take him.
