Yay for major plottiness, something I don't do nearly enough of. Some of the events leading up to Kairn & Shasa's departure.

Very good dear. Though Reida was too nice to Kairn.

hey, she's human, she can't keep up the pure evil all the time!

Thank you! :)

Eep. Shasa actually knows the right answer? No way! *gasp!* I do think this comes right before another of your pieces that I remember...

Reida was rather nice to Kairn, but it's always to get what she wants, isn't it? ;)

Awesome job!

yeah, I'm not so keen on that other piece - why I didn't put a link in - I think it was one of the first Sethan & Kairn bits I wrote and it's rather stiff, but I thought it was worth keeping for the flow of events

Reida...occasionaly grasps the point of civility ;)

Thank you! :)

Kairn and Shasa kind of break my heart D: Shasa may be a nitwit, but I still feel bad for her.

And I thought Reida's "niceness" worked! It was still very Reida, what with the cut that brat out line. And I like that she was ripping up grass...VAGUELY SYMBOLIC?? (I'm reaching?)

and yay for plottiness!

Awww thanks :)

I always find it amusing when everyone gets all suspicious anytime Reida is even remotely nice ;)

And maybe vaguely, idk, I just figured destruction of something living in place of something else living that she'd like to destroy, not sure if there's any real specific significance to it being grass or anything.

Yeah, I didn't think it went too far beyond that...mostly Reida destroying helpless flora. Though I did get the impression she was still peeved at Sethan and thought back to his association with things green ;)

haha, I hadn't thought of that, but I like it!

Lol, interestingly enough, I didn't even see Reida being "nice" in this piece...I just saw her working after her own jealousy-fueled/power hungry self. I feel jaded now, aha...

Part of me wants to see what sort of terrible things would have happened if the whole story "never happened" so to speak, and Shasa never left, and Sethan actually got what he wanted...but I think that's just the part of me who loves bad ends talking. XD

I think it wasn't so much that she was doing him favors as that her tone and manner of dealing with him was a bit more amiable than she often is. And even there, it's debatable, cause well, the underlying motives are so Reida.

Who says Sethan didn't get just what he wanted? A kid, conveniently raised by someone else, somewhere else. If he wanted to raise Sham himself he would have used Reida (which reminds me, I had that AU I wanted to write...)

Thanks! :)
