Notes: The Library. It's big! :D

Certain that the Library is, indeed, big. Huge, in fact. Ridiculously so, to be more exact. Somewhere there have to be edges, walls with the windows that certain catlike beings watch like - well - like cats, but for all intents and purposes the Library is composed of bookshelves and floor. There must be a ceiling somewhere as well, but eyes, metaphysical or not, just don’t go up that far.

And also certain that it would be a dreadfully easy place to get lost in. Obviously some must do so, but - if they couldn’t cajole or outright force the Library to be where they wanted, what were they doing in it?

The Librarian, if she wanted, could even take care of these cases - if she was in a truly charitable mood. Of course the Librarian herself could never get lost. She couldn’t. It wasn’t conceivable. That was why she was the Librarian, to know everything about the Library. She wasn’t the Librarian to go around getting lost in it.

Libris pondered her surroundings. To say she had no idea where she was would be unkind and inaccurate. She was in the Library, after all, and perfectly aware of this.

After sufficient consideration she took a promising-looking green book down from a shelf she should not have been able, technically speaking, to reach. It opened in her hand and she scanned it very quickly, speed of actual comprehension yielding before speed of eye movement.

“Rin? ‘Len. Okay, I can work with that,” she told herself, bright and hollow. “’S close. Yeah?”

She picked a direction and set off resolutely...

Eventually the Library took pity on her and deposited the girl where she actually needed to be.
