and Ivy still cheats, gets called out, and claims that whatever she did was legal

I love Ivy for that alone, I think.

Poor Jake. I kind of want to give him a hug.

It barely works, and ticks funny. But then, so does he. Which is why he plays minigolf, badly.

...and Lars also seems pretty awesome.

I do adore my Ivy-girl. Jake does need lots of hugs, but fortunately he gets them. And Lars is actually brand-spanking new; he showed up for this story and refused to go away, so now I have to figure out what to do with him.

Thank you so much for reading!

Seconding what I said in my other comment, I lovelovelove all the different POVs. I also like the sports connection each one of the vignettes has :)

Lars is actually brand new as of this story; he presented himself and refused to go away. I'm glad he knows what he's doing because I don't know the first thing about him. :D

Thanks for reading!

They best characters show up uninvited and stay as long as they want. Enjoy it.

I know right? From the bits and pieces he's shared, he just keeps getting cooler. *hugs him* I must write a story about him soon.
