His father was a special case, one most people overlooked. An immensely powerful man, an accident while operating machinery left him unable to connect to their chosen daemon and therefore useless. He turned to teaching his sons instead of mourning his loss, wisely knowing that his children would connect to Electro in the same way he could not.
“Father, yesterday you told me you loved Sakura.” Sano asked.
“I do.” He replied. “And, just like you, I don’t want to see her hurt. And don't hurt yourself either.”
