omg! adorable! I love LOVE the coloring on the green dress. The fabric looks so shiny and the shoes match! And Ski's expression is great. All the expressions are great, really :)

Thanks! :)

I'm really happy with the dress. Ski I'm kinda iffy on. Mostly cause it was kinda small and there wasn't much room to do detail, so she's a little cartoony, but I suppose that's ok too.

Sooooo cute. ^^ But, erm, sort of sad in the sense that it's chopped nuts, yanno...;__;

Thanks! :)

That's the horrible lie though. Tristan doesn't even know he has a daughter until she's a teenager, seeing as everyone thinks he's dead.

Ooh, really nice job. One of these days I need to learn to use colored pencils "properly." ;)

Thanks! :)

I find them one of the easier mediums. You have the control of pencil with all the color range and depth of paint. You do have to invest in decent ones though, cheap Crayolas don't blend too well,

Eh, my problem is that I put them on thick (like cover the whole paper glossy thick), which doesn't work with the ones with too much wax -- prismacolor). I loved my Bryunzeels, but apparently those don't get made anymore, and I've been using them up. (see the first drawing here: http://sylvrilyn.livejournal.com/31519.html) Hence the need to learn to use them properly. Sorry for the comment-thread hijacking.

the glossiness can be good though! I like going that route sometimes too, deepends on what I'm going for. The key though is to build up to it, like paint, layer after layer until you get a nice thick depth to the gloss instead of just your initial color. I like my prismas, in part because of the waxy, glossy effect. And these look good! And no worries about the thread. :)
