Luckily, abandoned long ago by all but them.
No one else would die for them this day.
Lorena turned to Xander, determination a steely glint in her weathered bronze eyes.
"We have to find them."
He thought she resembled some avenging goddess, her beauty haloed in flickering red-orange, "Have no doubt, we will."
