They were standing behind a bakery on West Bridge Street; the baker on her knees before three menacing figures. A woman, tall and with deep red hair, gripped the pudgy business owner by the throat. Her nails dug sharply into her throat, and she began to agonizingly cut off her oxygen.
“How do you know this will bring him out?” one of the men asked. “He never cared for humans before.”
“Well, he seems to now. And even if he doesn’t reveal himself, this will definitely let him know we’re here.” The baker screamed, but no one came.
