“Joe, what happens to my old memories as I forget them?”
Joe turned from where he was washing his instruments to look at her. She had grown more approachable in the past week. He knew this was largely in part due to her quickly fading memory.
“New dreams?” He asked knowingly. She nodded. “Well, the best I can say is that your old life takes a backseat to your new life. You’re the same person with the same feelings but you have a clean slate.”
She smile somewhat sadly and threw her arms around him.
Joe was never more surprised.
