Elderberry #18. Howl from Beyond with Whipped Cream and Hot Fudge
Story : knights
Rating : PG
Timeframe : 1248
Word Count : 648

I think this is the first I've included Shasa in the whipped cream. She's about 4-5 years younger than Kairn, so 8-9 to his 13 or so here.

Sethan, Kairn, Shasa, and...the local wildlife )

This is kind of how I imagined Shasa might be as a kid. Bit of an interference! But, er, Sethan found one way of getting rid of pesky little sisters. A very Sethan-like way.

I love Sethan's "You wouldn't" and how Shasa doesn't notice XD

And Kairn thinks Sethan's kidding at the end too, doesn't he ;)

Thanks! :)

yeah, I don't think Shasa was ever really much fun (or terribly observant) and I suppose he must because he sure was surprised when they do!

“They’re ten feet tall and sound like that,” he said. “Yeah, I figure he’s noticed it.”

Ah hah hah. Thank you Kairn. Always a pleasure.

XD

Little sisters ... I can see why she doesn't like the idea of Kairn and Sethan killing bunnies but it was just too funny how Sethan ried to get rid of her XD
I guess the behemoth helped.

she's definitely good at butting in where she doesn't belong. I had thought I might have gone a little overboard with Sethan and his grumbling, but when they were kids he never could stand it when she tagged along.

thanks :)

Ah, the interloping little sister. A pest, as always.

I love how the other two are all freaking out over the Behemoth while Sethan is contemplating what'd happen if he caught it. I guess a little bit of nervousness runs in the family? Or...dare I say it...maybe it's a little shred of common sense that clamors "giant beastie in woods = run away".

She's enough of a pest grown, she had to be an unbearable child. And since when has Sethan had much need to bother with common sense? ;)

Thanks :)

LMAO! I find Sethan's last suggestion so believeable for some reason. Persuading Kairn to drag the thing home again should be interesting. Wonder how many bunny traps it would take :)
