Summary: Student learns the alphabet
A/N: Very good prompt as Alex is a first grade teacher
I’m sorry I haven’t been very active within the community I will be posting more and leaving comments on other peoples.
“L, M...” The little girls face scrunched up with concentration. “I can’t ‘member the next one.”
“Of course you can” he encouraged gently. “Come on L, M”
She thought carefully for a moment before smiling broadly “N its N. I got it right didn’t I?”
“You did and for that you get a gold star.” He stuck it on the workbook. “Now can you repeat the rest?”
She rattled off the rest of the letters quickly. “I can’t wait to tell Mama.”
“I’m sure she’ll be very proud.” He was it was always great to see a student succeed even if it was just learning the alphabet. It was the reason he had become a teacher that satisfaction when a student learned something new because of him no matter how long it had taken and how frustrating it had been it was more than worth it.
