Thank you! I'm afraid my style seems to swing between flowery and wry and a bit sarcastic.

Modern magic is a bit different from its earlier form though, I think. Or perhaps the attitude just shifts. Still. I'm glad I got this little piece down, it seemed rather important somehow to the overall story.
