Breaking the Ice
A message from the crazy ladies that run this place mods :
We sure have a lot of new faces around here. We are enjoying getting to know all of your stories. RaT’s has never been quite so busy as it has the last few weeks. (I attribute that not only to all the new folks but to three of our mad dashes to finish flavors)
We have quite a few old members here whose stories have already been underway for months. We know it can be a little daunting to jump into a story in the middle, but - thanks to the non-linear nature of RaT’s - it should be entirely possible. Don’t worry if you’re lost! Questions are welcome. We all love to talk about our works.
The tag system is in place for a reason. If you like what you’re reading and want to see more of what has come before, clicking on the tag ‘[author] arisa’ at the bottom of one of her posts, for example, will bring you to everything she has posted so far. Every author has her own tag so you can easily reference all of her work. While we're certainly not demanding everybody to go back and read all 400+ stories, we highly encourage you all to check out any authors that interest you. There have been some really good pieces. Feel free to comment on old stuff too - especially if you have questions.
Would it help any of the new members if any of us old folks re-introduced ourselves? You can certainly go digging for our initial intros (use the tag) but if you don’t want to go sifting through members that aren’t around anymore, I’m sure everybody would be happy to say ‘hi’.
I’d also like to invite everybody, new and old, to come join in a game over at the_malt_shoppe.
