Jack stared at the bakery from across the street. The store’s window full of freshly baked breads and treats as the deadly pleasant aroma wafted out of the door. His mouth watered; his stomach moaned. Idly the boy pulled at the edge of his shirt just to busy his hands. He wanted something from that bakery.
He pulled his attention away from his dreams as an older gentlemanly looking fellow walked by. Today he would settle for the common pick pocketing that he was used to, but one day… One day he would steal himself a pie.
