Story:
The Strange and Awkward Mishaps of Dahy, Xephos, and co.Summary: Something he doesn't talk about, later on.
Notes: Expanded moment for a longer piece that isn't complete yet.
He is first aware outside of their influence, although that is not what he is focused on- the pieces they have put together are acting, the madness and the counterweight forced against each other, and they play that drama out first, something he imagines later that they might have liked, with the blood spilt from the part they didn’t want- but he doesn’t think they were watching. How else would he have been able to slip away, out of the cage the others had been in and in which some of them had died? No one in their right mind would have stayed there, whatever they had to do to make it so, even if the smell came with them. So he leaves, and is not there when they look for him.
(Gradually, it fades away, though he never quite forgets it.)
