The weekend is here, and it couldn't have come sooner. Actually it began Thursday, but I didn't do shit on that day because I wanted to be able to wake up at 8 to call Brittany. Last night though, I got a bit wasted, nothing too drastic. On Sunday I'm going over to Joe's house. Graham and Jenifer are house-sitting over there so we'll probably barbecue or something. Not sure about what I'll do today though, or even what I'll do on Monday. I may just take it easy, and rest up for the massive end-of-school and graduation parties that are coming up.
I'm listening to one of my favorite artists right now,
Paradox/Alaska. His productions are amazing, and he seems like a really cool guy from
this interview. Drum & bass, in my opinion, needs more producers like Paradox to keep things fresh from all the jump-up shit that's really popular on the dancefloor these days. Not to mention
clown-step.
Artists that I'm actually feeling at the moment: Calibre, Photek, Dom, Teebee, Technical Itch, Corrupt Souls, Evol Intent, Amit, Break,
Fryky, Basic Operations, and of course Paradox. There's also a lot of talent that post on the
DSCI4 boards, but not enough to keep me from being as hardcore with drum & bass as I used to.
Just joking about that Fryky bit. That dude must be on some PCP or something. What a stupid fucking happy hardcore idiot.
