Logan very rarely went looking for Jack Harkness. Maybe once or twice, usually for a fight, but for the most part their meetings were purely coincidental. Just two people passing one another by, occasionally slipping off course and slamming right into one another. Like race cars or comets. Something loud that was doomed to end in an explosion or some sort of mess.
Today was different though. Today Logan had headed down to the port, making his way through the rows of ships in hopes of seeing the one he was searching for. The Rose was easy enough to spot, standing out from the others almost proudly. Not unlike Jack himself. Logan wasn't a fan of ships, the tight spaces and the fact that they had a tendency to be floating in the middle of nowhere was more than a little off putting. In fact, he rarely boarded one unless forced to. Still, out of all the ships he'd ever found himself on, the Rose was one of the nicest.
Standing outside he looked unsure, wondering if he was supposed to knock or call out for the other man. He didn't want to draw attention to himself though, and after much silent debate, he found himself pulling his new com from his pocket and dialling the Captain's number.
He needed answers. Or maybe not even answers, just... something. He felt nearly as hollow and gaunt as he was starting to look, his cheeks hollow and his usually toned body scrawny and underfed. He was a mess, hell, he had been since before his encounter with John, but... It was worse now, and for some reason, he was sure Jack had the answers he needed to make it better. He was positive the other man could... fix him. It was a lot of faith to put in a man he still wasn't always sure he trusted, but Jack just sort of inspired that sort of thing. It was part of who he was.
"Come on," he whispered. "Answer your damn com."
