i really liked how you established the tone of this!! the formality of the prose isn't distracting, it fits the tone and helps emphasize the seriousness of joonmyun's situation. you've done a great job of sketching that out, of kyungsoo with his short patience (lol canon) and how hard joonmyun tries, despite not quite being suited to lead. the introduction of jongdae was intriguing, too!! i love how joonmyun had to guess his real name to rescue his voice (considering everything, it ended up much better than, say, rumplestiltskin). it made me sad that yifan decided that that was the only route, but scary jongdae to the rescue!! i liked the bittersweet, hopeful ending a lot, as well
