Great things about the Swell Season show on Monday night:
-Sold out
-Glen in good mood
-Glen in jaunty hat
-Relaxed, cool Marketa
-Everyone played well save for a few minor mishaps that were generally laughed off
-Good setlist
-Mostly well-behaved crowd
Bad things:
-Annoying shouty guy during show (though I suppose annoying shouty guy is more or less a staple of Glen shows)
-9:30 Club overcrowded
-Surrounded by pushy girls
-Too many Twilight fans
-Hipsters in scarves
-Lighting a bit dim
The line was 50-deep when we arrived an hour BEFORE doors, which was almost two hours before the main set. Insane.
