Hello, I'm Steve:
Well, wasn’t that the most interesting thing of all time? Well, multiple things.
This week at school has been particularly stressful because of all the projects due, and on top of it, I’m actually filming the huge project…and this week is when we have to film. On top of that, there’s interviews starting this week and I have a resume due this Friday.
It was funny though, I got to the shooting place, and when I got there, I read the script, and was like “Okay, there’s 4 characters, and only three actors. Where’s the fourth actor?” and the director was like, “Dude, you’re the fourth actor.” Man, that was a wakeup call. Nothing like showing up one day, and like BAM! Gotta act. It was a lot of fun. Even weirder because I WROTE this entire damn thing, so I gotta do impromptu rewrites every few minutes.
It’s fun though, the scene I’m in now we get to make fun of World of Warcraft….I love making fun of WoW.
Then after that, it was an even more interesting coincidence when I was browsing through Wikipedia, and found this band called “Between the Buried and Me” and I saw that they were Progressive Metal, and that they toured with Dream Theatre, so I downloaded two albums on a torrent, and before I even got a chance to hear them, I read on the Rock Band forums that the 20 free DLC was announced. So I jokingly though “That would be awesome if that band was in the 20 free…” and it was! The song “Prequel to the Sequel” is an awesome guitar/bass/drum song and it’s like eight and a half minutes of awesome….if you can handle the growly vocals.
So yeah, awesome 2 songs, all unknown bands, but all pretty good from what I’ve heard. Can’t wait.
