Trippin on Amped!

Man, I was just plain WIRED today.  But let's start with some small updates:

as it turns out, I misread something, and I actually DO have Fridays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays off, but I still go in every day to keep up to date on all my projects.

I'm the creative head behind an awards show that actually gets broadcast to local TV (CHCH, for anyone tuning in sometime next april)  how did I become creative head?  Well I don't know, but I was the one leading the discussion and controlling the class, and I actually just made up on the spot some homework.  (the instructor was like "you guys govern yourself, I'm just here to guide you." and I ended up on top somehow.)

I'm also the producer of that short film I was telling you about.

Yesterday, I totally went to this fair at the school, did a lot of cool activities, got a lot of cool things, including this energy drink....

so, this morning, I thought "hey, class doesn't start till 11, I'll get on the 9:45 bus, lots of free time!" I got to school at 9:30, then waited, and at 9:55, I was wondering why the bus was late and nobody else was waiting, so I look, and lo and behold, the bus left at  9:05.  so I missed my first class.

Well, I was waiting till the 11:45 bus, and while I was waiting, I drank this energy drink....you know, becuase I could.

allow me to give a bit of background to this as well: I've had many energy drinks in the past.  I don't really like them, but sometimes I get em for free and I think "meh, why not?"  and drink em as if they were just pop.  well, I've never EVER felt any jolt in energy,  just like any other drink, drug, pill, or anything, I never felt any effect. as I'm sure you've figured out, today was different.

I started writing a short story on the bus, and got 1/5th of it done in one sitting, then when I got up, I was surprised to feel that my legs felt as though I just went through a powerful orgasm (tingly and weak) I was wondering what it was, and didn't figure it out till I made it to the classroom I was supposed to go to.

once class started, I was typing at like 120 WPM, talking to three of my friends, writing on 4 message boards, and continued writing that short story.  I also participated in 90% of the class conversation, and the more active I got, the more I noticed my hands were absolutely numb.  I was loud, I was talking fast, I had the worst case of ADHD ever, and I was doing everything to keep myself occupied.

Then after class, I was going through half a dozen videos and was writing to friends, ect.  Then in our next class I was twiddling my thumbs nd drumming to random songs that I played in my head, and I was always there again to offer my opinions in class.  Then, as it was getting close to 4:00, I got up and was jumping on the balls of my feet waiting for a video to end, when the teacher just was like "just go., the video is essentially over."  so I ran all the way to the bus, which I almost missed.

then on the walk home, I talked some random dude's ear off about Rock Band and the PS3/360 battle, and how they both had their pros and cons.

then I got right home and Learned to Full Combo the final string of descending triplets on Green Grass and High Tides, then practiced the solo of Constand Motion till I Was confident enough in my skills again.

I

WAS

WIRED!!!!

now, I know an energy drink is supposed to give you a boost in energy, but it's never actually happened to me before, and my heart was absolutely racing in my throat all day.  I 'calculated' about 140 BPM.....though I'm sure my calculation methods were innacurate.

Needless to say, no more energy drinks for me.  it may have been kinda fun, but it was uncomfortable too, and I hate not being in a solid state of mind.

Sorry for that tirade.

also, here's some awesome songs that make me cry:

Carlos Santana feat. Michelle Branch - The Game of Love (Reminds me of Kitty....)

Nelly Furtado - I'm Like a Bird (Reminds me of my childhood, makes me nostalgic.)

2Pac - Changes (Reminds me of animorphs, and how much of my life they were.)
