so yesterday i took the final in what should be my last ever class for my master's and passed with a grade high enough to give me a 79.54 overall. what all of this means is that, barring some unforeseen disaster between now and august 8th, i will be graduating with a master's degree and class a teaching ceertification in special education on august 8th. well, the ceremony is that day, but i'm not walking, because immediately after work that day, i leave for my road trip and am nashville bound.
so, it looks like the road trip is going to follow this trajectory, more or less: nashville, greensboro, maybe the dc area, boston/connecticut, vermont, amherst/southampton, upstate ny, london ontario, chicago (lights_out and grrrlishgrin - we should maybe hang out), cincinnati, louisville. from louisville the plan is to go to phoenix and flagstaff, but i need a place to stay in arkansas, oklahoma, or texas. anyone in those states want to hang out?
one of these days i'll start applying for grown up jobs. maybe. but it'll have to wait until my road trip is finished.
also, i already posted this to facebook, but whatever, it's too good not to plaster everywhere. i mean, check out the crowd going apeshit!:
