Happy Superbowl Sunday
It was a happy day for me because I had my second day of driving. I actually got out of a mall parking lot today and drove from one relative's house to another's and back home. One of those stops was to see my dog, Sam! I was a little worried that she might have forgotten me but she ran to me as soon as she saw me and stayed right by my side the entire time. The only thing that brought a tear to my eye was when it was time to go. I reached for my coat, which used to be her signal to go outside with me. She got really excited, just like always, and when I stepped out the door my cousin tried to keep her in but she slid right through (not easily accomplished for a golden retriever). She ran after me and my cousin had to hold her down and eventually pick her up and carry her inside. Hopefully she will eventually get used to me leaving and her staying but I wish it didn't have to be that way.
