At British customs I told the woman checking my luggage that I had 42 dead Sea Turtles in my pants. They didn't keep me from entering the country, but they did make me leave my pants, and the deceased sea-turtles inside of them, at the Agriculture department next to customs. I fuckin' needed those Sea Turtles!

What could you possibly need that many sea turtles for? And how did you get them all in your pants?

ahhhhh!!! it sounds awesome, and if i weren't in the middle of a fucking corn field i would've wanted to hang out with you guys so you could tell me about it. alas... well, good that you didn't get eaten by the dual earthquakes that hit the area (upon arrival and departure, no less) and i want to see all the shiny glittery things you took pictures of, so tell chris to get his act together. i'll see you when i get back.

Chris and I had nothing to do with those earthquakes.

We swear...

I wish you could've hung out with us too. We have awesome gifts for giving.

Also, seeing your icon made me remember to tell you something. You all (Hannah, Jemma, Sarah, and Shannon) love a facet of Japanese culture that doesn't exist.

Now don't get defensive and shout at me.

But Chris and I seriously believe that Japanese people don't actually like J-Rock. We went into like ten thousand record stores and couldn't find posters or cd's or anything from any of those half girl/half man Japanese rock bands. The only hint we found of it was a Gackt poster in an alleyway, but that was all.
