Mom and I are going over diarios and it has spawned a conversation about Spanish expletives, particularly of the religious variety... hostia, me cago en la hostia, me cago en Dios, etc... good times. Man. We're tearing up, we're laughing so hard. Aw, Spain. The hostia explanation would take too much effort, but the student's trying to say I hope you're well with the other... salto means I jump, and we think she typed hop instead of hope into an online translator and didn't realize it... what she's actually saying is "I hop/jump you're good." Fun, fun.
