Accomplished
Well, today I spent a lot of time fixing up Sonia's old laptop. I ended up reformatting the c:/, reinstalling software, updating windows, getting AVG virus software, updating video codecs, getting mIRC up and running, etc. I've taken it over as my laptop (obviously). It used to pretty much creep, but now it runs quite efficiently. I went ahead and ordered a new battery for it, since this one is pretty much shot (if the computer isn't plugged in, you can't use it). I love fixing things like this. I'm not an expert on computers, but I know enough to make shit happen.
