I am truly lucky
There are times the universe reminds us about how things COULD have played out. In this case, I am reminded how lucky I am that I have a pretty average kid. yeah, he doesn't do his homework. Yeah, he is not great at picking up his room or taking the best care of his things. And yeah, sometimes he can have a bit of a temper

one of the best qualities in a parent is that they feel absolutely priveledged to have their kid/s.
the other is that they say when they are wrong and apologize (when applicable). you seem like the type who does both.
it is truly a gift to your urchin and when he is grown he will be grateful for it...even though that has never been why you do it.
