okay, not really. but i am quite sick and i do feel like shit, so. let me complain.
I AM JUST VERY SICK BASICALLY. like. i keep getting sick and then i cough my brains out and can't breathe and have to sleep with a box of tissues next to me and wake up and have to clear out various orifices because CAN'T BREATHE. i went to a ballet yesterday (WHICH I WILL TALK ABOUT LATER BECAUSE OMG) and i had to cough between songs and hold my breath during the dances. aaaargh. and today i'm doing "tag day" which means i have to sing outside in heels and a gown for two hours and beg for money. argh. in the rain//snow because that sky is not pretty. also my partner doesn't have a voice. greeeeeeat.
but!!! i saw swan lake last night and it was absolutely brilliant. usually when i see stuff like that i get bored at the halfway mark because "and now the princess of spring is going to dance... now summer... now fall... oh, winter too? what a shock" and my mind wanders but this was an entirely new version that someone in spain did. guys. SPAIN KNOWS WHAT'S UP. they kept everything that's super well-known from swan lake (GUYS SHE DOES THIRTY-THREE TURNS ON ONE FOOT WITHOUT STOPPING DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW FUCKING AWESOME THAT IS) but made it more... i don't want to say "modern" but it took less staring at my program trying to figure out what the fuck everything was. it was just. ugh. beautiful.
in other news...
- i'm still attempting to write liam/girl!zayn. not sure why this is so difficult. come on, brain.
- i have a ~mini-solo~ in our senior song. :D i mean, so do most people, but! i am excited!
- i keep having weird drug-induced dreams (drugs like nyquil and the like, i mean). they're like super mundane but weird so i think the things that happen are true. and then it's confusing and i have to figure out what was a dream and what actually happened.
- we're discussing post-modernism in english. i am so not a post-modernist. *shakes head*
all right. i shall stop now.
