Previously on Once Upon a Time: after they copy-pasted Rumple's character onto Emma, they copy-pasted it onto Hook too. Clearly we are in the presence of master writers.
Hook got nasty really fast, just saying.
Interesting how every memory Hook has when being "reborn" is of Rumple.
"Hi." ROTFLMAO. Best line delivery of the season.
I love how Regina is suddenly concerned about the consequences to everyone else of making dark ones, because she didn't give a darn when she was trying to make Rumple go dark with Lacey and when she was gloating over the darkness consuming Rumple.
"Filling Emma with the darkness?" Um, since when did Rumple have anything to do with it? Emma chose to take it on herself.
"And save you." Awwwwwwwwwwww :)
I wish we could have scenes between Henry and a Rumple instead of Henry speechifying about how Rumple has changed (love Rumple, but really? He just stabbed Henry in the book AU before he went into his coma) and otherwise basically not knowing Rumple is alive the rest of the time.
"I went leather as well." LOL.
"After spending centuries quelling my bloodlust." What is with the recon that Hook has been struggling against darkness for centuries? He was doing nothing but hunting Rumple until he met Emma, and for quite a long while after that.
That whole "meet me at the well" scene had me choking up. And of course the writers will screw it up because Rumbelle never has enough pain.
Regina doesn't exactly have the moral high ground when it comes to deceiving people in respect of romantic relationships, I'm just saying.
Boy, Hook is really being nasty. Is there an angle here or is he really being that nasty?
Regina doesn't look too happy about this bizarro thing she has going on with Zelena and Robin.
Rumple tosses a cane like a boss. Does this mean his leg is fixed for good? They keep going back and forth.
I wonder if Merlin will stay dead? No one seems to stay dead except Neal.
"Soiled but returned." EWWWWWWW! Dark Hook is gross! Also Milah would kick his butt six ways from Sunday for saying that.
Whoohoo, Rumple won the fight! With a little help from his avatar.
So, basically Belle needs some space. I actually back her play here, but oy vey, now we're going to have three months of Rumple vs. Belle fandom warfare. And they've already been through too many separations, what they need is a whole episode together just talking. If this is their way of handing EdR's pregnancy then that's just not very creative.
Oh good Lord in heaven, they're going to open up ANOTHER portal? Clearly we are in the presence of master writers.
They brought all the Dark Ones? I feel cheated if we don't see Brad Dourif.
Hook really does seem to have gone full dark one. So basically we had Emma muddling about pretending to be the dark one and it's Hook who's doing the real dark one things. So much for dark swan and all the research Jennifer Morrison supposedly did about dark swan iconography and myth. As far as I can tell, Dark Swan amounted to some white hairspray, monotone line readings and waiting about for Hook to get his dark on.

Word to your entire post, but especially the above. If I have to sit through this, I want Zoso talking to Avatar-Rumple -- scenes four years in the making.
What really frosts my corn flakes is the entirety of Rumple's arc after 3A would have made more sense BEFORE he heroically sacrificed himself. Never mind, though, they can use the bass-awkward plotting as another McGuffin to open a portal to Hell, because they can use the blood of someone who has been to Hell and back. *Slow golf clap*
I've lost track of all the special blood and special hearts and other special body parts that get redefined for the spell of the week. "We need the heart of the truest believer! We need the heart of a man who knew Rumple before he was the dark one! We need the tear of a recent lost love! We need the blood of someone with Darkness! We need the blood of someone who's been to hell and back!"
Word. That's been one of my big problems with everything from 3B and beyond, that they apparently decided they didn't want Rumpel to try to be good after all and he had to go dark again. And punish him any time he tries to do the right thing. One reason why I decided that everything after 3A is not part of the show canon for me. Sigh.
