Vacation #1 Coming Up!
Woo! Just a few more days until I can start my first vacation of the summer! It's time to take a break from work.
Here's what's going on:
Friday, June 29: Traveling up to Lexington after work to meet up with my parents and our family friend, Jeanette.
Saturday, June 30: Picnic given by the University of Kentucky Medical Center pharmacy division to celebrate the ending of their residents' terms. This includes my brother, who is ending his two year residency. Also showing Jeanette around Lexington.
Sunday, July 1: Going to Holiday World! Finally getting to ride those roller coasters!
Monday, July 2: Traveling back to VA (sans brother, who is remaining behind in Lexington). Relaxing around the house.
Tuesday, July 3: No current plans. May take my cousin out to dinner to celebrate her graduating high school a few weeks ago (which I couldn't attend). May hang out with friends in DC. These plans are still up in the air.
Wednesday, July 4: Family cookout and fun times at my house!
Thursday, July 5: No current plans. See Tuesday, July 3 for potential plans.
Friday, July 6: Going with my cousins to Hersheypark! Gotta ride Storm Runner!
Saturday, July 7: Taking Doug (my friend that used to work in our lab but that now works at JMU in Harrisonburg, VA) around the Shenandoah Valley. I don't really know what all we're going to do yet.
Sunday, July 8: Traveling back to Nashville.
I'm looking forward to this vacation. Vacation #2 coming in mid-August when I get to go to the beach on my family's yearly beach excursion. Looking forward to that, as well.
