OMFG YAY!

Picture Post!

Yay birthday!

Mum outdid herself with the breakfast table again, although Dad hardly seems impressed:

Weird fruit of the year = dragonfruit. Kind of tastes like a kiwifruit.

Tethering the ol' helium balloon in the garden. I don't know when this tradition started, but I always get a dolphin helium balloon for my birthday. And for some reason, I always insist on naming it something French. Last year we had Jean-Baptiste, this year we have Rousseau.

Cake and birthday tea!

Such a cute cake. Mum brought a real flower in from the garden to put on it.

Birthday afternoon means Mum, Danwise and I cavorting around the Dorothy Clive Garden and getting up to all sorts of hijinks.

Naturally, there will be many pictures of us smelling random flowers.

Rofl Dan's hand gesture. It's like he's all, "This is wisteria, fo shizzle." And Mum's all, "You're joking."

*cute Mum and Amy moment*

Apples yay!

I kept excitedly pointing out Acers so I'm quite sure Danwise knows what they are by now. Look at his little face. He humours my whims.

Darling Danwise spoiled me absolutely rotten by taking me to a beautiful hotel and making a fuss of me. I could just squish him all over <3 <3

Alderley Edge Hotel (apparently lots of ManU footballers stay there, but we didn't have a wink of the buggers :'( )

The view from our room:

We got ourselves all up for the meal, like. Danwise scrubs up like a scrubbed mouse on scrubbing day.

You KNOW a place is posh when you have three types of butter with your bread. Leik woah!

Next day we jape around Alderley Edge like two... well... japing things.

Rofl our sunglasses. We look like Swedish tourists. Kinda. <3

Also, Dunham Massey is FULL of baaaaaaaby animals and that should not be allowed because they almost made us explode.

TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH!

Birthday picnic with uni friends on campus, plus ADVENTURE!

From left to right are Nori, Fabio, Hitch, George, Tom and Leria.

We have an adventure amid rhodedendrons! For some reason George always seems to be grinning cheekily from a floral background.

Although here he is upset because Leria has stolen his flowery limelight.

STICKFIGHT!

George taunts.

Lmfao, George got pwned

Leria is more adventurous than all of us. Swing, Little L, swing!

Mum and Dad came to visit for a day of touristy crazeh at Nottingham Castle.

The Castle:

View from the terrace:

The castle grounds are pretty. Although not as pretty as my skirt, apparently, since mum kept complaining that it was stealing the scene in all the photos.

DIVA SKIRT!

Grad Ball!

We all ate outside in the garden before we got ready. An was hilarious - she kept saying she felt like a big Italian momma cooking up all this pasta and sauce for 10 people.

Clare and Rae:

LOL Becs' Nora Batty roller getup. Cheeky grin!

Bertie:

The venue for the Ball was really pretty. Apparently there were over three thousand people there.

From left to right, the housemates - Clare, Rae, me, An and Becs. A lot of the group shots came out quite blurry and nearly all of the ones of me and Dan did, which I was rather upset about. I'm going to trawl Facebook for other people's pictures, though, so I'll post them when I find some better ones.

There was a gorgeous almost-full moon. The venue:

Fairy lights!

FIREWORKS!

Vicarious George is an owl, rly.

Leria in standard phone pose.

An and Chil, later in the evening when we're all falling asleep on the sofas.

Feeeet! I don't know why I felt the need for this, but yknow. Maybe mine and Dan's feet are just photogenic. Hee.

As you can see, I have been busy as a busy vole-salmon-thing for the past couple of weeks. I'll miss Nottingham a lot. I may even shed a single sparkling emo tear...

:'(
