It's sad that I'm just now getting to post what happened a week ago. Oh well! 8D I've been busy.
So, I have a friend (awesomely cute friend) who interns at the Ginormous aquarium in Atlanta, GA. That was part of the trip I took last week. We drove from Lexi to Atlanta and stayed at my friend's awesome apartment and generally made nuisances of ourselves.
In return, she got to take us on a tour of the aquarium and proved to be a better guide than the ladies giving the spiels there. XD One memorable moment was her standing before a large tank, pointing out all the amazing life forms in that excitable, bubbly attitude of hers and drawing in a crowd away from the people who actually work there...without realizing she was doing so. She's just naturally that good and should be getting paid for this.
It's adorable how curious these lil cuttlefish are.
See?
Hi thar.
Ever seen the Sphere? ........*shudder*
Preeeeeetty.
They glow in the dark!
Mmmm bioluminescence.
This one was neat. Had a wave like machine that would mimic the movements of a reef.
IS THAT A MANTA??
YES, YES IT IS.
Note the hammerhead.
I think these things are so cute!
Pretty, invasive bastards.
Outside where there is a grassy knoll, the Olympics were held and there is a park with a fountain.
That's a city alright....
Also, something extra but amazing. At the aquarium, a gaming company came to get a few promo shots for their game for the publicity.
It's definitely worth checking out.
