In other news!
I ran a 5K with my friend Allie this weekend and I was really excited with our results! I finished in 39:05, with not having run within the last two months at all. I'd say that is pretty decent!
Allie finished with 42:57, which beat her best time ever, and I was so proud of her!!! :) She such a cool person, and I love that she running. You rock, Allie.
Also, Crystal Lake Park is a very fine venue for running. It was a peaceful setting, despite the 50 gallons of gasoline that spilled into the lake last week...
