Snow!
I love the snow. For me, its one of the only things that makes winter in the midwest bearable. I changed my userpic to be a picture of me and Mary during her first snow (which was actually the snow we had a couple of weeks ago). Went for a nice hike at Allerton to see the snow yesterday, it was so deep! I was glad i was wearing my winter boots.
speaking of my winter boots - i have been very impressed with them. i think ive had them for about 8 years now, and they still practically look brand new. thats mostly because i only wear them for ~3 weeks out of a year! but still.. :)
Mary has had a fever for a couple of days because of the grubby kids at day care, but other than that she is doing great. she loves applesauce! and pears, and sweet potatoes, and squash! She hates barely cereal and alvacado so far. but we'll keep trying. She also love to chew on a nice cold carrot - we think shes teething, although we havent seen any teeth poke through yet. She is 7 months old TODAY!
Roscoe loves the snow too - as soon as you open the door to the backyard he bolts out at top speed and races around the yard. i think hes feeling a bit pent up lately, so im gunna take him to doggy day care this afternoon to romp around with the other pups for a while.
