Nutshell Update
I just finished my first semester at Jacksonville State University in the Dietetics/Nutrition program.
The restaurant I was opening and got fired from? Already failed and changed hands.
Got an AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING job when I didn't even expect it. It happened at the same time I started school full time. Things have grown exponentially and I am rocking it. I go to work and I never want to leave. I love the restaurant, I love my boss, I love my co-workers, I even love the battle scars. It's the only real farm-to-table organic/healthy/upscale restaurant in a 50 mile radius. It's called Garfrerick's Cafe and you can Like it on Facebook but we don't have a website.
Was thinking about how things were two years ago when I moved to Alabama. Things are much different now. You should all come to Alabama.
I've been away, building. I'm really happy. I'm hoping that after the holidays I can build my schedule with time for things besides work and school, which should be slightly more manageable now that I can approach it with all of the information in hand. Fewer unknowns.
