Alive and Well in Ithaca, New York
Yep, It's been a while.........
Last night, GF and I went with a friend to a most excellent performance by AMY RAY & EMILY SALIERS. We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY!! Beleive it or not, I have never seen these two women in concert. They rocked the house for an hour and a half and then played a 20 minute enchore. Who does that these days --all while charging less than $40 for any ticket in the house??!!! We had fantastic seats, too. Only 5 rows back from the stage.
Of course drummer Matt Chamberlain knocked my socks off! Our band covers a few of their songs and the drum parts are not easy to cover --if I want to play them the way he does. (no souvenirs knows what I'm talking about!!)
I'm still on an Indigo Girls high ----ooooweeeeoooo!!!!!!!
