I trust everyone's heard about our mysteriously disappearing old friend by now? I hear some of us even got the chance to chat with him, although he certainly wasn't the best conversationalist, hee hee. Did he leave any of you a token of his affection as well, or am I just special?
Getting straight to the point, though - I doubt this is the last time we'll be seeing our old friend. And judging by the mayor's wonderfully composed announcement, he knows something that the oppressive capitalist forces here would rather not have us find out. If I do happen to run into him again - right before turning him in, of course, since I'm such a fine upstanding citizen - I'd rather not waste time pressing him for information that we already have, and I'm sure that most of you feel the same way.
So let's even out the starting point of this game a little more for all the players involved, shall we? If you've got information to share, let me know here and I'll see that it gets out to the rest of the town. Of course, you could choose to keep quiet instead, but where would the fun in that be? As for you inquisitive types, drop by 453 Stone and we'll see if we can't work out a deal, hee hee.
[OOC: So I figured that before the event started, we could have a post gathering what people have found out from Sergei so far. Please assume that unless otherwise stated in-thread, Joshua will be taking notes on what people are telling him and will be handing out copies of those notes, as well as a copy of this newspaper scrap, to anyone who drops by his house. Unless he doesn't like you or is just feeling particularly trollish, in which case, you'll probably have to shell out a quarter first. What is being mature.]
