[The feed starts with voices, neither one of them English. When the sound gets better, it becomes clear that it are Sweden -normal, adult Sweden- and Denmark, speaking their own languages]
Y' understand yer s'tuation? [The voice is cold, self-assured, sure that he will get what he wants, it would speak of cruelty if not for the strict sense of efficiency. The nation who trained the nation that trained everyone else into efficiency in war is no less so himself.] Y' will do noth'ng less than s'rrender uncond'tionally. Th' terms 're mine t' make.
Yer not gonna kill me, so stop posturing. [Denmark's voice sounds carefully stoic, trying to not sound hurt.]
'm not gonna k'll y'. [A pregnant pause. ] Th're 're other th'ngs that I can d'.
[And then the camera comes on and shows younger Sweden, the one that has been around for the last days. While it is not nearly as obvious as it would be on other people's faces, even someone who does not know him extremely well will notice the hints of confusion and distress. He seems to be in a shack, wooden panes behind him and the light a bit too dim to see much more.
After a moment, he angles the camera away from himself, at the scene before him that has moved on while he has fumbled with the device. When he came, the older Sweden had been sitting around silently and waited for something. Now he knows that it was probably Denmark waking up.
There is Denmark, tied to a chair and Sweden, standing in front of him, one hand in his hair, forcing his head back. The tip of the taller nation's sword rests against his neighbour's collar.
From off screen, younger Sweden's voice can be heard first in accented modern/old-English-mix, then old German, then old Norse. Slightly lost, a bit confused, hoping for an answer. He knows that the flowers seem to show the past by now, so... context please? He can't imagine how something as hateful as this conversation could happen. They have been at war a couple of times, but ..not like this. Nothing that would have spoken of bitterness and lingering hurt and hate like this.]
What 's th't?
[[He's seeing parts of
this log, which was Sweden torturing Denmark to make him join his household - under Sweden's leadership this time. It did not work out because Denmark became a child shortly after.
