Our cat (meaning my mom's cat), Moxie, finally gave birth to four kittens in the early hours of this morning, two of the "tuxedo" variety, and two "calico." I've yet to see any pictures, but I'm sure they're precious

Really? Because a lot of my classmates are upperclassmen and they're dumbasses. I suppose this is what I get for going to FSU. (>< I'm here for the theatre program, I just keep telling myself that. I don't want to, er, "hate on" FSU, but UF is obviously more academically competitive.) Nevertheless, maybe it's just the teacher/curriculum/my class. I'm learning new vocabulary, and also working on grammar and things that are still confusing as well as speaking. But I've not had any serious oral presentations yet, and I've just scored a perfect on my test, while most people got 70s-80s. It is definitely the next course that I don't already have credit for, so it's not like I'm re-taking anything. I dunno.

Ummmm, I'm not sure yet, but I was hoping to perhaps take the bus home for the last weekend in October, the 27th-29th. That way, it won't feel like too long or too short of a time before I head back for Thanksgiving, because I'll be a darned sock if I don't go home then. I hear some crazy people don't go home on Thanksgiving! It's outrageous! What're they gonna do, have Thanksgiving in the dining hall?! I'ma get me some of mama's good cookin' and I'ma bring it back with me in as much tupperware as I can carry.
